I am so thrilled to present My Quiet Book a felt busy book for children ages 3 and up! I have put my heart and time into this book trying to provide the most fun pages for kids and the best neatness and quality. **Please be aware that this is a made to order purchase, so you must allow time for me to make it. If you are in a time crunch then please message me so we can arrange details before you purchase!** Below is a description of each page. These pictures are of the first copy of this book that I made. For the most part each book is made identical. Once in a while I just change a color here or there. To view more pictures of this busy book visit my facebook page: www.facebook.com/hhandmade Cover: The cover is more of an aqua blue than the picture shows. It has two sturdy handles for kids to carry their book anywhere and although the picture shows a button to fasten it all together, I now use Velcro. I cut out my own letters and affix them. This one shows sticker letters, but now I have been using a stencil & iron-on technique for durability. The inside has eyelets for the binder rings to go through, so pages can be inserted and removed easily for cleaning or reordering, etc. Pages: There are 10 basic designs, so double-sided there are 5 pages in this busy book. -The 1st is the Painter's Page, which includes a paintbrush so children can pretend to paint everything in sight with their multi-color rainbow pallet. -The 2nd is the Season's Tree Page, which allows children to button on fall leaves, spring flowers, or summer green foliage. For winter just tuck away the pieces in the grass pocket to show a bare tree. -The 3rd page is the Mailbox Page, where children can write notes with the little pencil (included) and pretend to send it off in the mailbox. The flag pictured is a new design and the lettering pictured will be replaced with lettering as shown on cover. -The 4th page is the Barn Page, in which children can open up the barn doors and play with three finger puppets, a chicken, a black lamb, and a piggy. When they are done they fit right back in their pocket behind the barn doors. Each finger puppet has 2 googly eyes. -The 5th page is the Fishing Pond Page, which I am so excite about! Kids will love taking out the little fishing pole and catching the fish with magnet magic. Five fish fit neatly in the cooler for safe keeping. This page in particular is why I think it should be for 3 years old and up. -The 6th page is the Flower Pot Page, in which children take the petals out of the pot and place them around the yellow circle in numerical order to create a flower. The petals are secured using velcro. Just so you know, I will be cutting my own numbers instead of using the ones pictured. -The 7th page is the Abacus Page, featuring rainbow beads from 1-10. -The 8th page (also one of my favorites) is the Alligator Page, where children can open up the alligator's mouth and brush his teeth and tongue with the toothbrush (included). -The 9th page is the Clock Page, with movable hands on the clock and a cool-dude sun and sleepy moon. -The 10th page is the TicTacToe Page, featuring snaps, children can play a game of TicTacToe while practicing their snapping skills. The snaps were easy for adults to pull and push, but when further tested, some children do find this challenging!
